Box HM 1023, Purpose: A residential hospice facility for terminally ill patients and others requiring palliative and/or respite care. Services: Hospice palliative care focuses on relieving symptoms and supporting patients with a life expectancy of months not years. Support is also offered to family members. The palliative care team is comprised of doctors, nurses, a social worker, chaplains, nursing auxiliary staff and volunteers.
