Purpose:

A registered charity providing support for Agape House, Bermuda’s only inpatient hospice facility.

Services:

Hospice services focus on caring not curing.  Agape House is open to patients of any age, religion or disease process where a prognosis of life expectancy is measured in months rather than years. Services include pain management, symptom control, respite care and counselling. The Coordinator oversees the volunteers at Agape House. Volunteers serve meals and assist in many ways to enhance hospice life. The charity fundraises to provide extra amenities for Bermuda’s only inpatient hospice facility.

Hours of operation:

Hospice open 24 hours a day, year round

Office hours: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Volunteers are available seven days a week
