Purpose:

To prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS disease.  To assist people who are infected by providing social support to them and their families.

Services:

§         Provide health education on the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS and the treatment of sexually transmitted infections

§         Provide educational programmes and workshops

§         Evaluate and assess home care needs of HIV and persons living with HIV/AIDS

§         Conduct home visits for nursing care

§         Provide pre and post-test HIV counselling

§         Provide counselling re: death and dying     

Hours of operation:      

8:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (Closed 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm)

After hours and weekends messages may be left on voice mail.
